The Homebrew Electronics Germania Treble Booster produces sounds that you have heard a thousand times. It's based on the original Dallas-Arbiter Rangemaster, heard on many, many classic records, including the John Mayall "Bluesbreaker" album with Eric Clapton.
The tone Eric got from the Les Paul, Marshall 2x12 combo and the Rangemaster pretty much set the standard for that rock/blues tone we're all still using today.
It features a switch for Lo-Fi/Hi-Fi mode. Lo-Fi is the original Rangemaster sound, in your face without apologies. Hi-Fi is a brighter, more transparent tone with less emphasis on the mid range frequencies. A second, 3 position switch allows you to change the affected frequency when in Lo-Fi mode.
